Hour Community is a registered charity based in Framlingham. The initiative was created to support the residents of Framlingham and its surrounding villages. Beginning in 2011 and becoming a registered charity in 2016, we have since grown and continue to respond to identified need, employing the skills of dedicated volunteers.
We are delighted to be able to offer residents a number of services to support in ways that had not previously been available. So as well as providing dedicated volunteer help within the home, we also offer a dementia befriending service, a mental health drop in cafe and provide transport to medical appointments.
Hour Community's ethos is "please give an hour of your time a month to help someone in need. If you can't give an hour of your time, give an hour of your salary".
If you like the idea of giving some of your time to help others please continue to navigate this page for ideas as to how you can get involved. If you need some help please use the contact information listed for details of how to get in touch.
